Helping Others Heal

Today I wanted to share a personal story with you…..I got my nails done a few weeks ago….of course you are there for a while and interacting with your nail tech.  She was awesome and very personable.  I asked her a lot about her and then she asked me about myself.  I shared with her my two books that recently came out and gave her the history of them.  She was very interested and asked a lot of questions.  I just went back this week to have them done again….and she asked to purchase Dads: Dedications and Daughters.  She looked at me and said, “Thank you for writing those” with tears in her eyes.  She said that one of her friend’s Dad died the week before of cancer.  He was diagnosed just a short time ago.  He served our country in Vietnam.  She wanted to purchase the book as a healing tool for her friend.  We both cried for a bit and hugged……..this journey that I am on is much bigger than myself, and has a bigger purpose than I could have imagined.  If I can bring comfort to one person in dealing with her Dad’s death, then it all has been worth it……

That’s great & just what the purpose of your books are! You are touching so many lives & they are touching yours right back…….win/win!
