Nicknames……..when did we get that “special” name, who calls us that, and where does it come from??? When I was born, my dad wanted to name me Mitzi after Mitzi Gaynor. My mom said, point blank…NO!!!! So, she named me Eileen. A nice Irish name. My dad still called me Mitzi til he passed away at 86 years young, along with close relatives. I love being called Mitzi. It makes me smile and gives me a warm sense of my dad around me. Do you have a nickname? If so, share with us, who gave you your nickname and how did you get it? Have a great day and create lots of memories! Mitzi

Norma L. Heidrich
5.0 out of 5 stars Super anti-bullying book that also teaches kids about empathy and acceptance.
This is an excellent book. My grandchildren loved it. We had to read it three nights in a row. The story teaches children that even though someone might be different that it is not ok to bully them. We all have abilities, we might just do them differently. Moxie and Christy are great role models who take Lucky under their wing and teach him that although he might be different he is still wonderful. This book is based on a true story.
