“It was the end of the life I cherished. My husband, Jack, lay dying in the bed in front of me. The pain and suffering he endured was a testimony to the love he had for me and our marriage until he drew his final breath”.

“As the months went by, my anorexic condition worsened along with many of the side effects that went with it. My supervisor traveled frequently for his job and soon was promoted to a new position. We rarely saw each other after that. However, whenever he came home, he would always call to check on me and take me to lunch. Since Tom had been Jack’s friend as well as mine, he seemed to take on the responsibility of making sure I was going to make it through this downward spiral which became all consuming. At times, it appeared that feeding me became Tom’s mission in life”.
