I was honored to be asked to participate in the Eliot Library Expo on Monday, October 28th. It was great to share how I got started, a little of the process, what each book was about, my new one, Best Friends coming out soon, and Small Town Memories which I am currently working on. Most exciting was talking to the people attending. It is all about you! I want to know your memories, your stories, hear about your photos. It was exciting and heartwarming to see people’s eyes brighten to talk about their loved ones, and their loved ones who serviced our country. I look forward in meeting more people in the future at the expos. Thank you all who came out that evening and thank you to the people who volunteered their time to set up, cook (yes, great chocolate chip cookies) and to clean up. Also, thank you to the other authors who participated. A wonderful group of people!

5.0 out of 5 stars Super anti-bullying book that also teaches kids about empathy and acceptance.
This is an excellent book. My grandchildren loved it. We had to read it three nights in a row. The story teaches children that even though someone might be different that it is not ok to bully them. We all have abilities, we might just do them differently. Moxie and Christy are great role models who take Lucky under their wing and teach him that although he might be different he is still wonderful. This book is based on a true story.
If you have read Lucky...Little Guy, BIG Mission, we would so appreciate a review on Amazon. Please help us to get the word out to make this book a #1 seller!
