“Hi Eileen, I was your table mate at Zorvino’s Winery. I promised that I would let you know how I liked your book “Keepsakes”. It is wonderful! I was especially moved by the story of “Tammy” on page 23. I, too, lost my best friend to cancer. She was a little older than Tammy – about 45. I also had a baby girl when I was nearly 40. Thankfully, my friend knew my daughter. I felt a kinship with Elizabeth, the author. I hope you will let her know. Write more!” -Arlene Bassett, co-author of Images of America: Sandown

5.0 out of 5 stars Super anti-bullying book that also teaches kids about empathy and acceptance.
This is an excellent book. My grandchildren loved it. We had to read it three nights in a row. The story teaches children that even though someone might be different that it is not ok to bully them. We all have abilities, we might just do them differently. Moxie and Christy are great role models who take Lucky under their wing and teach him that although he might be different he is still wonderful. This book is based on a true story.
