“Ten years ago I was a young professional who earned a six-figure salary in a career that I enjoyed. I was a regional trainer for a private postsecondary university. I felt like I was making a difference. I enjoyed working with those who reported to me as well as my supervisors. I loved being the go-to person in our region to solve problems. I was passionate about leading my team to new levels-levels that some individuals didn’t think they were capable of achieving. Everything was comfortable but I questioned if there was something that I was supposed to be doing that was more meaningful”.
